The Dreambaby Adjustable Car Window Shade is a roll-up car window shade designed to help protect children from the sun's rays and glare, whether you're on a quick school run or a long trip. It attaches to the side windows with heavy-duty suction caps and adjusts in length to cover more of the window, making it a practical option for shading a rear-facing baby or an older child from direct light during the journey.

Because it works on both stationary and wind-down windows, it suits a range of vehicles, and it rolls up neatly when it's not needed so it's easy to stow away between trips.

How it works

  • Suction-cap attachment: Heavy-duty suction caps hold the shade against the window, and it locks into position once set.
  • Adjustable length: The shade extends to cover more of the window, measuring 14 inches wide by 18.9 inches long, so you can adjust how much light it blocks.
  • Roll-up design: It rolls up easily when not in use, keeping it compact for storage in the car.

Best For

The Dreambaby Adjustable Car Window Shade is a great option for parents who:

  • Want to reduce direct sun and glare on a child during car travel
  • Have stationary or wind-down side windows
  • Prefer a shade that rolls up and stores away easily between trips

A note on fitting and use

A window shade reduces direct light over the area it covers, but it doesn't cool a parked vehicle, so never leave a child unattended in the car. When fitting the shade, keep it clear of the driver's field of view and check that the suction caps are firmly attached before setting off. Check the fit against your own vehicle's windows, as suction-cap grip can vary with window shape and surface.
