The Cloud B Tranquil Turtle is a combined night light, light projector and sound machine wrapped in a soft plush shell — a bedtime companion designed to make a child's room feel calmer at the end of the day. Press the button on its shell and it projects a serene underwater effect, complete with softly undulating waves, across the ceiling and walls, while playing one of two gentle sounds. How it works

• Underwater light projection: The projector casts a moving underwater effect with a gentle wave motion onto the ceiling and walls, giving the room a soft, watery glow.
• Aquamarine shell glow: The turtle's plastic shell itself glows in a relaxing aquamarine colour, so it doubles as a low-level night light beside the projection.
• Two soothing sounds: Choose between a Tranquil Melody and Ocean Waves to add steady sound that can help mask variable household noise during a bedtime routine.
• Adjustable controls: Brightness and wave movement can be adjusted, and the sound offers 6 volume levels, so you can dial the experience up or down for different rooms and situations.
• 23-minute auto-off timer: The projection and sound run for a full 23 minutes and then switch off automatically to preserve battery life — a duration Cloud B notes is recommended by paediatricians to allow for deep sleep.

How to use

1. Place the Tranquil Turtle on the floor, ideally in the centre of the room, so it projects the ocean effect up onto the ceiling and walls.
2. Press the button on the turtle's shell to start the projection and sound; it will glow for a full 23 minutes.
3. Once the 23 minutes are up, it shuts off on its own. Press the button again to reactivate the projection if your child needs it.

Powered by batteries

The Tranquil Turtle runs on 3 AA batteries, which are included, so there's no cord or wall socket to work around — handy for placing it exactly where you need it and for keeping bedtime going during load-shedding.
