Beurer MG 99 Rechargeable Deep Tissue Massage Gun

The Beurer MG 99 Rechargeable Deep Tissue Massage Gun is a handheld percussive massager built for targeted muscle relief at home, at the gym or on the go. Using rapid pulses to work into sore muscles, tight spots and trigger points, it's designed to help you relax, recover and unwind — whether you're an athlete, on your feet all day, or simply winding down in the evening. At just 620 g and roughly 16.4 x 5.8 x 18.4 cm, it's compact enough to slip into a gym bag, travel bag or desk drawer, and it runs on a rechargeable lithium-ion battery so you're not tied to a plug point while you use it. An LED display keeps things simple, showing both your chosen intensity and how much battery you have left.

Powerful, adjustable percussion

The MG 99 delivers up to 3 000 pulses per minute across five intensity levels, ranging from around 1 800 rpm on level 1 up to 3 000 rpm on level 5. That range lets you start gently and build up, dialling the intensity to suit the muscle group and how it feels on the day. If it feels like too much, you simply step it back down.

Four heads for different muscle groups

It comes with four interchangeable massage heads, each shaped for a different job, so you can match the attachment to the area you're working on:

• Ball head: best suited to large areas and larger muscle groups, such as the upper arm or calf.
• Spiral head: best suited to deeper muscle tissue and targeted spot massages, such as the sole of the foot.
• U-shaped head: best suited to deeper muscle tissue in the lower back area (excluding the spine) or the Achilles tendon.
• Flat head: best suited to large areas across the body, such as the thigh.

Battery and charging

The MG 99 runs on a 2 400 mAh, 7.2 V lithium-ion battery and charges via the supplied USB-C mains adapter. Beurer recommends charging it for at least 3.5 hours before first use, and using the supplied 2 Amp charger rather than a laptop port or lower-output charger — a 1 Amp charger means a much longer charge time and shorter run time between charges. To help prevent overheating, the device switches off automatically after 10 minutes of use.

How to Use

1. Before first use, charge the massager for a minimum of 3.5 hours by connecting the supplied mains adapter to the port on the bottom of the handle, then plugging it into a suitable socket.
2. Check the battery charge level on the LED display.
3. Fit the attachment that suits the muscle group you're working on.
4. Switch on and select your intensity level, starting low and adjusting as needed.
5. Work the massager over the muscle without pressing too hard — if it stops during use, that's usually a sign of too much pressure.
6. Never use the device for longer than 15 minutes at a time, and allow it to cool for at least 15 minutes before using it again.
