How it works

• Two-phase expressing: Separate stimulation and pumping levels let you begin with a lighter stimulation setting before moving to a pumping setting, following the change in rhythm many babies use at the breast.
• Soft silicone cushion: The cushioned silicone cup attaches gently to the breast to help you stay comfortable while you express.
• Memory function: The pump remembers the last stimulation and pumping level you used and recalls it when switched on, so you don't have to reset your preferred settings each session.
• Automatic switch-off: The pump switches off automatically after 60 minutes; the recommended interval usage is 30 minutes on, 30 minutes off.

Bottle compatibility

The BY 40 comes with a bottle and matching leak-free screw top, plus adapters for NUK and Avent bottles — so you can express straight into a bottle you may already be using for feeds.
