Goes great with ...
  • Soothing rattle sound: A gentle rattle plays when the plush character is shaken, inviting your baby to explore sound and repetition.
  • Easy for little hands: The smooth wooden ring is shaped for an early grasp, so your baby can hold and shake it comfortably.
  • Two textures in one: Warm natural wood and soft plush give little fingers tactile contrast to touch and discover.
  • Cause-and-effect play: Shake it and it responds — encouraging your baby to make the sound happen again and again.
  • Compact and lightweight: Slips easily into a nappy bag for play at home or on the go.
  • Natural materials: Made with natural materials and baby-safe fabrics.
  • Neutral, charming design: Suits most nurseries and styles.
  • A thoughtful gift: A lovely choice for a baby shower or newborn present.

The Back to Nature Wood Ring Rattle is a handheld baby rattle that pairs a smooth wooden ring with a soft plush character, giving little hands something easy to hold and something soothing to snuggle in one toy. When your baby shakes it, the plush character makes a gentle rattle sound — inviting them to look, reach, grasp and repeat, which is exactly the kind of early cause-and-effect play babies love to discover.

The wooden ring is designed with tiny hands in mind, sitting comfortably in an early palmar grasp, while the varied textures of the wood and plush invite touch and exploration. It's compact and lightweight, so it slips easily into a nappy bag for playtime on the go, and the charming, neutral design suits most nurseries. Made with natural materials and baby-safe fabrics, it also makes a thoughtful baby shower or newborn gift.

How it works

  • Gentle rattle sound: Shaking the plush character produces a soft rattle, giving your baby immediate, repeatable auditory feedback that encourages them to do it again.
  • Easy-grasp wooden ring: The smooth ring shape is simple for small hands to hold and pass from hand to hand, supporting early grasping and coordination.
  • Mixed textures: The warmth of natural wood alongside the softness of plush offers tactile contrast for little fingers to explore.

The Back to Nature Wood Ring Rattle is a great option for parents who:

  • Want a first rattle that's easy for a baby to hold and shake
  • Like the mix of natural wood and soft plush in one toy
