B.Box 2l Lunchbox

The B.Box 2L Lunchbox in Midnight is a divided bento-style lunchbox built for packing a full day of meals and snacks in one container. With a 2L capacity and separate compartments, it's designed for kids who like variety through the day — a sandwich here, fruit there, something a little wet without it running into everything else. It's a practical option for crèche, school and family outings where you want everything in one grab-and-go box.

What sets this lunchbox apart is how adaptable the inside is. A large compartment fits a whole sandwich, a custom divider lets you resize compartments to suit what you're packing, and a flexi whole fruit holder stretches to hold whole fruit like an apple. Leakproof silicone seals let you store wet foods such as yoghurt or dips (not liquids), and the seals lift out for cleaning.

Keeping food cooler for longer

A gel cooler pack sits underneath the sandwich tray, helping keep food cooler for longer once it's packed — useful on warm South African days and longer commutes to crèche. As with any insulated setup, it supports the cold chain rather than replacing refrigeration, so pair it with sensible food-safety habits for anything perishable.

Made for little hands

The easy-to-open design has a carry handle and a large grip clip, which encourages independence by making it easier for a child to open and close the box themselves. It's the kind of detail that helps a toddler or young child manage their own lunch as their fine-motor skills develop.

Materials and care

The lunchbox is made from PP with silicone seals and handle. It measures 253 mm high x 215 mm wide x 73 mm deep and weighs 0.57 kg. It's dishwasher safe on the top rack only (up to 60 °C) and microwave safe once you remove the lid before heating.

How to clean it

1. Remove the silicone seal by pulling gently on the tab.
2. Handwash using warm, soapy water and clean every compartment, then allow to air dry completely before reassembling.
3. The lunchbox can go in the dishwasher (max 60 °C). To realign the seal, push the stretch circle feature through to the front so it sits flush with the lid, then press the seal edges down on the inside of the lid until they sit firmly in place.

To preserve the print on licensed designs, hand washing is recommended over the dishwasher.
