As a registered provider with a practice number, we work directly with CAMAF — which means once you've placed your order, we submit the claim on your behalf, handle all the supporting documentation, and keep you updated throughout the process. No chasing invoices, no paperwork on your side — we make it easy and hassle-free from start to finish.

CAMAF Coverage

Breast pumps and baby monitors come from CAMAF's dedicated maternity benefit — no referral or script required — and can be claimed from 3 months before your due date to 6 months after your baby's birth, as long as you're registered on the Mother-To-Be programme. These still count towards your annual External Appliances limit. Other maternity-related devices, like thermometers, nebulisers and humidifiers, are covered under the External Appliances benefit directly, and a script from your doctor may be required.

To confirm your specific coverage and limits, register as a Mother-To-Be with CAMAF or check the 2026 Benefit Brochure for your option (Alliance, Double, Vital, Essential, First Choice or Network Choice).

How To Claim

Simply shop your approved devices and add your CAMAF details to your cart. We'll submit the invoice — including our practice number and the relevant ICD-10 and NAPPI codes — directly to CAMAF on your behalf, and keep you updated by email throughout, which usually takes 1–2 weeks. If any items in your order aren't approved by CAMAF, we'll let you know by email before anything is delivered. If your baby arrives early and you can't wait for the claim to go through, just let us know and we'll do what we can to help.

STEP 1

Check Your Coverage

Check with your scheme to confirm if they will cover the items you want to purchase, and how much coverage is available.

If they need a proforma just get in touch with us and we'll help create one for you.

STEP 2

Order Online

Place your order online, and make sure to include your medical aid details in the cart. When you get to checkout, you will see an option for direct medical aid submission. Select that option, and checkout. We'll handle the submission.

You can choose to pay upfront and claim back, in which case pay through any of our secure methods and the invoice will be sent to you soon after your order is confirmed so that you can submit to your scheme.

STEP 3

We'll Submit Your Claim

We'll submit your claim directly to your scheme for them to process and pay us directly. We'll handle the admin, and will keep you updated on the progress or if there are any issues.

Once the claim has been submitted you'll get a reference you can use if you need to follow up with the scheme yourself.

STEP 4

Your Scheme Will Process The Claim

Your scheme will process the claim and pay us directly. If the order is paid in full then we'll update your order and immediately start processing your order and getting it ready for delivery and collection.

If there's a copayment, we'll reach out to you and let you know. Once you've paid the copayment we'll start processing your order and let you know when it will be delivered or ready for collection.

STEP 5

You Receive Your Order

Once the medical aid process is complete and the order is paid, your order will be processed and we'll start getting everything packed and ready for you. We'll then deliver it directly to your door, or we'll let you know when it's ready for you to collect from our store.
