ergopouch-long-sleeve-layer-1-0-tog
ergoPouch Long Sleeve Layer 1.0 TOG

The ergoPouch Long Sleeve Layer 1.0 TOG is a TOG-rated under-layer designed to be worn as a pyjama beneath a cocoon swaddle, sleeping bag, sleep suit or sleep onesie — or on its own during the day. As part of ergoPouch's layering system, it gives you a simple way to dress your little one by room temperature rather than guesswork, pairing a base layer with a pouch to build the right amount of warmth for the night.

Made from a soft, stretchy blend of bamboo viscose, organic cotton and a touch of elastane, this long sleeve layer has a slim fit that sits close to the body so it won't bunch up underneath a sleeping bag. The breathable natural fibres are designed to help regulate body temperature, making the layer a practical foundation piece for a range of conditions.

A thicker 1.0 TOG layer for cooler nights

TOG is a measure of thermal insulation, or how much warmth a fabric holds. At 1.0 TOG, this is a thicker layer suited to cooler nights when you'd like a little extra warmth under the pouch. Because it's part of a TOG-rated system, you can mix and match it with your sleeping bag or swaddle to adjust for the temperature of the room.

Thoughtful features for easy dressing

A three-way zip makes nappy changes and getting dressed far less of a wrestle, and the zip guard helps protect the skin at the chin. Foldover hand and foot cuffs let you cover little fingers and toes or fold them back as your baby grows. The GOTS certified organic fibres are skin-friendly and gentle on eczema-prone and dry skin, and all ergoPouch fabrics are dyed with non-toxic, water-based dyes. Prints are designed in-house and come in a range of colours and patterns to suit the nursery.

How to Use

Wear the layer under a cocoon swaddle bag, sleeping bag, sleep suit or sleep onesie, or on its own for daywear. To find the right combination for your room, follow ergoPouch's What to Wear guide alongside the layer and pouch.

Best For

The ergoPouch Long Sleeve Layer 1.0 TOG is a great option for parents who:

Want a base layer to add warmth under a sleeping bag or swaddle on cooler nights

Prefer dressing by room temperature using a TOG-rated system

Are looking for a slim-fit under-layer that won't bunch beneath a pouch

Want soft, GOTS certified organic fibres for sensitive or eczema-prone skin

Available in sizes from 0000M through to 2Y, with each size mapped to a weight and height range so you can match the fit to your baby.

Disclaimer

Choose the correct size for your baby's weight and height to ensure a good fit and avoid bunching.
