We’re a registered provider and can assist you in claiming for medical aid approved devices from Discovery.We do not have an arrangement with Discovery so you will need to pay upfront and claim back.
How It Works
Discovery covers essential registered devices (such as breast pumps, baby monitors and smart thermometers) from registered providers.
We’re here to help, so don’t hesitate to reach out if you’d like some help. Once you’ve chosen the products that you’d like, order the products and add your medical aid details at checkout. Once you complete payment we will send you a paid invoice that you can submit to Discovery.
Step 1
Check Your Coverage
If you are on the Executive or Comprehensive plans you have cover for up to R6,000 for essential registered devices from the
Maternity Benefit e.g. breast pumps and smart thermometers, with a co-payment of 25%. These items must be registered products and must be bought from registered providers.
For other plans, we pay external medical items like breast pumps and apnoea monitors from the available funds in your day-today benefits, and subject to annual benefit limits, where applicable. If your plan does not have available day-to-day benefits or you have run out of funds, you need to pay these costs yourself.
Executive Plan & Comprehensive Plans
Up to R6,000 for essential registered devices such as breast pumps, Baby apnoea Monitors and smart thermometers.
You must pay 25% towards the cost of these devices.

All Other Plans
If your plan does not have available day-to-day benefits or if you have run out of funds, you need to pay these costs yourself.

We send you an invoice
We will send you an invoice to submit to your scheme with all the necessary information on it to ensure a seamless claims process! If you experience any issues with the discovery claims process, please do not hesitate to reach out to us and we will do our bets to support you.

We deliver your devices
We will deliver your devices to you specified address. We do recommend that you keep your products in thier packaging until Discovery has processed your claim, in case any issues arise and you decide to return your products!

Are there any fees or extra costs for claiming?
No. We don't charge any dispensing or other fees like most pharmacies. In fact, our delivery* and returns are also free
*Free delivery applies to orders for R800 and up.
What secure payment methods do you accept?
If you are a CAMAF member, we can submit your claim directly. If not, please use one of our other safe & secure payment methods. We accept payment via EFT, instant EFT, debit card, credit card and more. We use a few different payment portals so that you have full control and can choose the payment method that you prefer. We don't currently accept cash on delivery.
