We’re a registered provider and can assist you in claiming for medical aid approved devices from CAMAF. If CAMAF is your scheme, you will not need to pay upfront for your device and will benefit from a 10% discount on your copayment
How It Works
CAMAF covers breast pumps and baby breathing monitors (aka apnoea monitors) from your maternity benefit. You may also have coverage for a thermometer. Please not that this process takes approximately 1-2 weeks. if you need your products urgently, contact us!

Register as a Mother-To-Be with CAMAF and activate your maternity benefits. You can check your coverage and benefits based on your specific plan using this calculator below or by reviewing CAMAF’s 2024 Maternity Benefits

Step 2
Select your devices
Browse the available devices on our online store and select the breast pump, baby breathing monitor, and potentially a thermometer that you would like to order. Add the chosen products to your cart and proceed to checkout.

Checkout
Important: For any order with non-medical aid items, choose ‘CAMAF Claims’ as payment. CAMAF covers only approved devices. We’ll email instructions for payment of non-covered items and copayments.
Step 4
We'll handle it!
We handle the admin from start to finish. We submit the invoice on your behalf, and we’ll keep you updated throughout the process via email. This usually takes approximately 1-2 weeks. Once CAMAF has processed the claim and any copayments are paid, we’ll deliver your order.
We expect the unexpected and we’re always here to help! If you can’t wait for the claim to go through the process (it can take up to 2 weeks), please let us know. We’ll make sure you get your products when you need them.

What devices can I claim for?

When can I order my medical aid approved devices?
As per CAMAF's policy, you can order your products within the three months leading up to your due date or within six months after your baby is born.

Do I need to pay upfront?
As a member of CAMAF, you do not need to pay upfront. We handle the submission directly to the scheme on your behalf, and the scheme reimburses us directly based on your plan and benefits. If there is any copayment due, you will automatically receive a 10% discount when you choose to shop with Pandylane.
How long does this process usually take?
CAMAF claims usually take 1-2 weeks. In case of emergencies requiring urgent delivery, please let us know. We'll make sure you get your products when you need them.
Are there any fees or extra costs for claiming?
No. We don't charge any dispensing or other fees like most pharmacies. In fact, our delivery* and returns are also free
*Free delivery applies to orders for R800 and up.
What secure payment methods do you accept?
If you are a CAMAF member, we can submit your claim directly. If not, please use one of our other safe & secure payment methods. We accept payment via EFT, instant EFT, debit card, credit card and more. We use a few different payment portals so that you have full control and can choose the payment method that you prefer. We don't currently accept cash on delivery.
