Delivery Policy

1. Delivery Charges
1.1. We do charge you for delivery, but, you may qualify for free delivery:
1.1.1. We offer delivery to anywhere in South Africa for just R99.
1.1.2. If your order is R800 or more, you get free delivery.
1.2. You can choose to add on insurance for your order which is charged at R99+2.5% of your order value. We recommend choosing to insure your delivery for high value orders or orders being delivered to higher risk areas.
1.3. Delivery charges for bulk orders and furniture is an exception, and this is quoted at checkout based on the location of the delivery.
1.4. There is a surcharge for deliveries to hospitals, farms, chain stores or power stations.

2. Delivery Methods
2.1. Orders will be delivered by a courier partner or by our driver.
2.2. There is no option for collection. If the delivery fee is an issue, please contact us and we will see how we can best assist you.
2.3. You may choose between standard delivery or insured delivery (as mentioned above).
2.4. If you qualify for free delivery, you must select that option at checkout otherwise you will be charged for the delivery.

3. Delivery Times
3.1. We commit to delivering your product within 10 working days from receiving payment into our account (but it’s usually much quicker than that).
3.2. Although we will endeavour to deliver your products to you sooner, we may need to order products in from our suppliers and this may take some time.
3.3. However, we cannot be held responsible if the delivery is delayed for reasons outside of our control.
3.4. Deliveries will only be made from Monday to Friday, excluding public holidays, between 9:00 and 17:00, unless otherwise arranged.
3.5. If a courier is making your delivery, you will receive a link and reference number that you can use to track the progress of your delivery. If our delivery team is making your delivery, you will receive an email that morning confirming the assigned driver’s name and that delivery will be attempted that day.

4. Delivery To Your Address
4.1. Your order will be delivered to the delivery address entered during checkout.
4.2. Orders will only be delivered to physical addresses, we do not deliver to PO boxes.
4.3. The person receiving the order may be required to sign a delivery note as proof of delivery.
4.4. Once you or the person receiving the order signs the delivery notes and receives the package, the delivery is then considered accepted. You will still have the opportunity to examine the package and return any or all products as per the Returns section of this Policy.
4.5. Once an order is received and confirmed with payment, you will need to contact us directly if you would like to change the address for delivery.
4.5.1. You may be asked security questions to verify your identity;
4.5.2. The change is not accepted unless specifically acknowledged by us;
4.6. Please ensure that the delivery address you enter during checkout is correct and accurate. We are not responsible for products being delivered to an incorrect address due to an error made during checkout. If this occurs and the incorrect person receives your order, we will try and assist in recovering the products, however, this will result in an additional delivery charge of R99.
4.7. We do not offer delivery outside of South Africa.

5. Packaging
5.1. We strive to use only recycled and recyclable materials wherever possible in our packaging.
5.2. Some packages may contain bubble wrap or other plastic protective materials. Please note, these materials are hazardous to babies, young children and pets, and should be discarded safely, or stored out of reach.

6. Products Not Available for Delivery
6.1. Unfortunately, some items may be unavailable or out of stock at the time you place your order. In the event that we cannot fulfil your order within the stated time, we will contact you to make alternative arrangements.

7. Undelivered Packages
7.1. It may happen that a package is returned to us as undelivered. Should this occur, we will make every reasonable effort to contact you to arrange for re-shipment.
7.2. Please let us know if there are particular times or days when our courier partners should not attempt delivery in your order notes. It is your responsibility to ensure that someone is available to receive the order.

8. Disclaimer
8.1. All risk in the product will pass to you once the order has left our premises. This overrides the implied condition in 19(2)(c) of the Consumer Protection Act, 68 of 2008.
8.2. Please take care when opening your package to avoid damaging your products.
8.3. Please ensure that you check the contents of the package against the order. Should you find that a product is missing, or that you have received an incorrect product, please contact us immediately.
8.4. We are not responsible for any damage to your order once it has been dispatched from our warehouse. However, we do request that you let us know if there are any issues so that we can take the issue further with our courier partners.
8.5. Our obligation to provide the products ordered is fulfilled upon delivery. We are not responsible for any loss or unauthorised use of the products after delivery to the physical address nominated by you.
